Just Married

It's been a year since I last made a journal update and a lot has happened since then.

I just got married!

The 2nd of July 2016 I married my best friend and the love of my life; Su-rine. Our wedding could not have gone any better and we are both happy as can be.
The weeding was planned according to our theme, which was Harry Potter. After all this time, I'm still a Potterhead through and through. Always.

We wanted a beautiful and classic wedding and used the theme as guideline and Easter eggs. For instance, the seating cards were inspired by Chocolate Frog Cards, my nails were painted as Hedwig, and we got picked up in The Flying Car and combined our two house colors everywhere we could. (Slytherin and Hufflepuff).

We got married in one of my favorite Danish churches (Church of Our Lady) and so many of our friends took part in the ceremony. I have no words to express how much that meant to both of us.

The party afterwards was also amazing and there were so many touching speeches. Many happy tears were sheds, but even more sweet lady kisses were exchanged with my wife.

All the wishes, greetings and gifts from all the people in our lives mean so much. My wedding day was truly the happiest day of my life and I can't wait to grow old with my wife.

Now I just need to get accustomed to my new name. Old habits die hard, as they say. 

Cursed Child
Wifey and I then went to London with our British pack sisters to watch Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. They encourage you to "Keep the secrets", so I'll do that. But I will say that it was the absolutely most wonderful play I have ever watched! Brilliant, I tell you. Utterly brilliant.

Honeymoon
After a wedding, of course we need a honeymoon. Thus we are going to Japan this Thursday to celebrate our love and marriage. During this time we will also participate in the Alumni program for World Cosplay Summit 2016. We are very much looking forward to seeing our friends again, who live far away. This seemed like an opportunity worth taking.  


This was just an update in my life to tell you all that I'm doing absolutely great. Life is amazing when you have someone to fight alongside and share good moments with.
